    Receive New Stock

Receive New StockThis screen receives new devices into inventory.  Fill in the name or initials of the employee who is doing the receiving, the client from whom the equipment is being received, and the lot code provided by the client.

You may select an existing client from the scroll-down list.  If you enter a new client, the name will be automatically added to the list and will appear the next time this form is used.

Then scan the serial number of each item being received; the serial numbers will appear on the list on the screen.  When all of the items have been scanned, click on the Done button.  This will commit the data to the main inventory records and print a receiver report which lists all the serial numbers.

    Charge Out

This screen is used to charge units out to an installer at the start of a workday.  You may display a previously-created ChargeOut to add or remove items or create a new one.

    Charge Out

Fill in the name or identification of the employee, and then scan the serial number of each unit being charged out.  Serial numbers will appear on the list as they are scanned.

To remove an item from the list, just scan its serial number again.

When you click Done, a printed copy of the chargeout sheet will be printed.  You can click the Print button to print extra copies.

    Check In

When an installer returns with units, use the Check In screen to record the units that were not installed or were retrieved from the customer.  When you click the Check In button on the main menu a pop-up screen will let you select a specific Charge Out transaction number.  If the items being returned were not related to a specific Charge Out, just click the No Charge Out Issued button.

The date of return and the employee who was originally charged with the items will be automatically filled in.  Scan the serial number barcode of each unit being returned, and it will be marked as returned.  If you scan a serial number not included on the charge out, the system will put it in the Pickups column, assuming that the installer has retrieved the unit from the customer.  For units which are not returned, you may fill in the Subscriber identification.  You may also manually check a category for an item:  Out (Charged Out to the installer), Returned (returned by the installer), Installed, Lost (not accounted for), or Bad (technical problem).

When you click Print or Done the system will print a Check In sheet.  This report is almost identical to the Charge Out sheet.

    Listing and Purging Lots

When units are received from the client, they are tagged with a lot number (typically provided by the client).  With List Lot you can print a list of all units in that lot along with their current status.

When you click Purge Lot, all of the units which belong to a particular lot AND are currently in inventory are marked as Returned to client.  Units which are charged out or installed are not affected.

Returning Units to ClientReturning Units to Client

When it is time to return a batch of units to the client, click on Scan for Return.  Then scan the serial number for each item being returned to the client; serial numbers will appear on the list.  To remove an item from the list, scan its serial number a second time.  Each unit is automatically marked Returned when it is scanned.

To print a report of returned units, click on List Returns.  A report will list and count the number of units which are Bad, Picked Up from subscriber, or Unused.

Once the report has been printed and the units have been shipped off to the client, click on Purge Returns to remove the units from inventory.  You will be asked for a password (which is “SUPV”) before you will be allowed to complete this operation.  It is very important to make sure all reports are printed because once the purge operation is complete the units will be erased.
