And different text sizes are shown properly, not simulated using thin or blocky lines. Print Designer Typefaces, Even on Thermal Printers
Owners of thermal printers are no longer limited to as few as one or two usually generic-looking typefaces. Seagull's Windows printer drivers allow many thermal printers to output the same rich variety of TrueType fonts previously available only on laser printers. All fonts scale smoothly to any size and without the blockiness often seen on thermal printers. And these special text capabilities don't depend on The Bar Tender. Our printer drivers are available separately and will work with Corel, Access, PageMaker, Word, Excel, and just about any other Windows program.

Print using Data from the Keyboard or a Data File
Many users simply type their desired data into their label design, or have The Bar Tender prompt for it at print time. This allows you to print any quantity of identical or sequentially numbered labels. For more sophisticated applications, you can easily import data files from other programs, such as databases, spreadsheets, and word processors.

You can export barcodes or even entire labels as BMP graphic files for use in other software packages. For example, you can create a BMP graphic of a barcode and move it to Corel Draw.

The Bar Tender works with all of the hundreds of printers already supported by Windows, plus additional specialty printers for which we have added custom support. Standard support includes a great variety of laser, dot-matrix, and inkjet printers, such as those made by: Epson, IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Canon, Panasonic, NEC, Okidata, QMS, Linotype-Hell, Citizen, Toshiba, Fujitsu, and many others.

Seagull's drivers for specialty printers may be used with The Bar Tender or any other Windows program, with the following models currently supported: Zebra, Sato, Fargo/DATAMAX, Intermec, Ring, Printronix, Eltron, Cognitive Solutions (Blazer, etc.), OTC, and IBI.
