Any unlawful or unauthorized use of this website is forbidden.  Authorized use includes unlimited viewing and reproduction of website content for private company or personal use.  Any attempts to cripple The Barcode Software Center website through ping-attacks, excessive simultaneous downloads, etc. will result in our seeking the full prosecution of the law.  Any unauthorized changes to the website are also prohibited.

Privacy Policy

Any business or personal information provided to The Barcode Software Center via our website, email, telephone, fax, mail or otherwise will not be shared with outside parties.   All information will be kept private, including, but not limited to, financial information shared, merchandise and services purchased, and contact information.

Customer Support

The Barcode Software Center is pleased to provide its customers and prosepective customers with all technical assistance possible.  We are available from 9AM to 5PM North American central time to answer calls and emails.  We offer in-depth support on all our in-house products, and limited technical support on all other items.  If at any time our technical support staff is unable to provide necessary support for merchandise manufactured by another company, we will supply contact information for the manufacturer's technical support.

Returns

  1. All returns require an RMA number issued by The Barcode Software Center.  RMA numbers must be displayed on outside packaging of returned goods.
  2. Incorrectly shipped merchandise will be replaced at the expense of The Barcode Software Center.  Correctness of order contents will be judged by physical records including faxed purchase orders and our original work orders entered by our employees. 
  3. Inoperative hardware or software will be replaced at the cost of The Barcode Software Center within 30 days.  Merchandise must be returned complete with original packaging, accessories, and documentation.  Merchandise must be free from any damage that is caused by misuse.  Returned goods may be refused by The Barcode Software Center.
  4. After 30 days, customers may refer to manufacturer warranty.
  5. Unopened, factory fresh merchandise may be returned  for refund for 7 days within customer's receipt of product.  7 days will be verified by shipping company's records of receipt (UPS, FedEx, etc.).  The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.  
  6. After 7 days of receipt, customers may return unopened, factory fresh merchandise for a 25% restocking fee.  Customer may choose to be issued store credit in lieu of refund and waive restocking fee.  The customer is responsible for all shipping charges.
  7. No returns on any software when demonstration software is available.  Previous to purchase of software, customers may download demonstration software or phone in request to be mailed demonstration software on CD-ROM.
  8. For pre-printed labels, refer to our Pre-Printed Labels Policy.
  9. No refunds on barcode artwork.  Samples graphics are available to customers for evaluation.  Graphics displaying incorrect information will be replaced.
  10. No returns after 60 days.

Corporate and Government Accounts

For a private company to establish an open account, The Barcode Software Center must be supplied either: banking references and three trade/corporate supplier references, OR a verifiable Dun and Bradstreet number.  For a U.S. government or not-for-profit organization to establish an open account, The Barcode Software Center must be supplied a copy of tax-exempt letter or certificate.

  • Standard Net terms are 30 days. 
  • Overdue payments will accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per 30 days.
  • Net terms must be renewed every 365 days
  • Every purchase order must have a unique purchase number
  • Every PO must be delivered via fax or mail and must contain an authorized signature

Reseller Conditions

Some reseller discounts are available through negotiation with The Barcode Software Center.  Any discounts offered to a reseller are confidential and subject to change.   Prior to receiving any reseller discounts, reseller must provide a copy of state sales tax license (fax or mail.)
